Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how BrahmaMuhurta.Info (“we”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies to provide and improve our service.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website work correctly, remember your choices (such as your location) and, in some cases, help the owner understand how the website is used.
2. Cookies we use
We use only essential cookies: they are needed to give you the calculator and the services you ask for, so they do not require consent and cannot be switched off individually. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
| Cookie | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
addressData | Remembers the place you chose, so the times are right when you return and you do not have to choose again. | 7 days |
bm_ipgeo | Remembers the place guessed from your internet connection, so we do not look it up on every page. | 1 day |
bm_csrf | Protects our forms (such as My settings) against misuse by other websites. | 30 days |
bm_session | Keeps you logged in to My settings. It is only set after you log in with an email link, and removed when you log out. | up to 90 days |
3. How we use cookies
We use cookies to:
- show you the right times for your location,
- keep you logged in if you use My settings,
- keep our forms secure,
- maintain essential technical functionality.
4. Analytics
Our public pages (including the calculator, monthly times, My settings, sign-in, unsubscribe, and the information pages) load an analytics tool, Site Behaviour, which measures how those pages are used (for example where visitors click and scroll) so we can improve them. To the best of our knowledge, at the time of writing it does not store cookies or other data on your device; it sends usage events to its own servers instead. The admin area does not load it. More information is in our Privacy Policy.
5. Opting out and managing cookies
We do not provide an internal cookie preferences tool. However, you can manage or block cookies directly in your browser settings, and most browsers and content blockers can also block analytics scripts. Please note: blocking the cookies above may stop the website remembering your location and may prevent you from logging in to My settings.

6. Third-party cookies
We do not set any third-party cookies. If you press play on one of our videos, it is shown from YouTube in a pop-up, and YouTube (Google) may then set its own cookies under its own policies. If we add other analytics or third-party integrations in the future, they will be listed here.
7. Updates to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when tools or legal requirements change. Updated versions will be published on this page.
